OKC Metro Summer Camps for Kids & Teens

1. Shiloh Adventure Camp

Ages: 8-17

As a previous camp counselor at Shiloh right out of high school, this one is my personal favorite and consistently ranks at the top of the list for my kids. Shiloh Adventure Camp is a unique urban summer camp experience located on a scenic 40-acre campus in the heart of Oklahoma City. Designed especially for youth in the community, this Christian-based day camp combines outdoor adventure with mentorship and personal development. Campers spend their days exploring activities like ziplining, ropes courses, sports, arts & crafts, fishing, and team-building challenges while building confidence and meaningful friendships.

One of the main reasons we like this camp so much is that it's a hidden gem of 40 beautiful acres located in the heart of OKC (NE 70th & Santa Fe). It's super easy to get to, and you'd never know it's there!

The second reason is the schedule: 9am - 5:30pm, Monday - Friday. Breakfast and lunch are included. A working parent's dream!

2. OKC Parks & Recreation Summer Camps

Best for: Affordable summer activities for kids & teens
Location: Various recreation centers and parks across OKC
Ages: 6-17

Oklahoma City Parks & Recreation offers a wide variety of summer camps at community centers throughout the metro. These affordable day camps provide structured activities that keep kids active and engaged all summer long. 3. Snapology Robotics & LEGO Camps

5. Camp Classen (YMCA Overnight Camp)

15. OCCC "College For Kids"

Ages: Kids entering grades 1-8, with some specialized academies available for high school students

Oklahoma City Community College offers a popular summer program called "College For Kids," where students can explore a wide variety of hands-on classes in a real college environment. Campers can choose from topics like STEM and engineering, robotics, programming, science experiements, art and creative writing, cooking, gardening, and even specialty classes like aviation, geology, and digital media. The program runs for several weeks during the summer and allows students to mix and match morning and afternoon classes based on their interests.
